1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Welcome to Drømmehavet. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our philosophy is data minimization—we only process the absolute minimum information necessary to make our app function, especially regarding in-app purchases.
This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights concerning that data. The legal entity responsible for your data (the “Data Controller”) is Drømmehavet ApS, located at Jordløsevej 3a, 5600, Faaborg, Denmark.
2. What Data We Process (and Why)
We do not collect personal data like your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising SDKs.
The only data we process is related to In-App Purchases (IAPs):
- Service: In-App Purchase Verification
- Data Processed: A non-identifiable purchase receipt or entitlement token provided by Apple (StoreKit).
- Purpose: To verify that you have made a purchase, unlock the corresponding content (e.g., “Premium Version”), and restore those purchases on other devices using the same Apple account.
This purchase receipt is anonymous to us—it does not contain your name, payment information, or email. It is simply a digital proof of transaction that we check to validate your purchase.
3. How We Store and Share Data
- Data Storage: The verified purchase receipt/token is stored on your device, as well as Apples app-store server infrastructure. We store this only to ensure your purchased content remains unlocked.
- Third-Party Sharing: We do not share or sell any data. The only third parties involved are Apple, who process your purchase on our behalf. We do not send them any data; they send us the verification receipt after you complete your purchase with them.
4. In-App Purchases (IAP)
All in-app purchases are optional and processed securely by the platform’s official payment gateway:
- Apple App Store: Purchases are processed by Apple using your Apple ID. We adhere to all of Apple’s guidelines for StoreKit and data protection. We do not have access to your Apple ID or payment details.
5. Your GDPR & Data Protection Rights
As our user, you have specific rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy laws.
Because we do not store identifiable personal data (like your name or email), many of these rights must be exercised by contacting the platform holder (Apple), who controls your account data.
- Right of Access: You have the right to access your purchase history. You can do this directly through your Apple App Store account settings. Previous purchases can be restored from the app, using the button ‘Gendan tidligere køb’ within the app settings.
- Right to Rectification: You can correct your account data (like your name or payment info) through your Apple account settings.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”):
- Our Data: We do not hold your data, but to delete the data from the device, please delete the app.
- Platform Data: To erase your core account and purchase data, you must contact Apple directly.
- Right to Object & Restrict Processing: You can object to processing by choosing not to make an in-app purchase.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our application is targeted at children under between the ages 4-8. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
